Keeping a parent’s health in one place
When you are the one keeping track for someone else.
How most people do it now
A notes app for the medication list. Photos of test results in your camera roll. A calendar for appointments. A message thread with your brother or sister. It works, until the day someone asks “what is she taking, and since when?” and the answer is in four places.
Why most health apps don’t help
Most health and calorie apps are built for one person: the account holder. To keep a second person’s information you usually need a second account, a second login, and often a second subscription, and their information ends up mixed with yours or nowhere at all. Apps made for professionals do handle several people, but they are built for clinics, not families.
What Sanomi does differently
Sanomi lets you add the people you care for as their own profiles, inside your account.
- Their own record. Conditions, allergies, medication and supplements, vitals, lab results and a journal, kept separately. Nothing of theirs mixes with anything of yours.
- Their own plan. Their medication at its times, their meals, their movement and rest.
- Their own reports. An AI Insight Report written from their record alone, and out as a clean PDF to them or to whoever is seeing them next.
- Their own answers. Ask Sanomi answers about them from their record, not yours.
- One tap to switch. You move between profiles without signing out.
What it doesn’t do
Sanomi is not a shared account that several family members sign in to, and it does not connect to a clinic’s or hospital’s systems. You enter what you know, and it is kept. Extra profiles are a monthly add-on to the membership.
Is this for you?
| If you… | Then |
|---|---|
| Keep track of one other person’s medication and results | Sanomi fits well |
| Look after a parent from another city or country | Sanomi fits well: the record travels with you |
| Keep your own health as well as theirs | Sanomi fits well: your profile and theirs sit side by side |
| Need several relatives to edit the same record from their own phones | Sanomi does not do this today |
Questions users ask
Does the person I care for need the app?
No. You keep their profile in your account.
Can I take their information to an appointment?
Yes. Any report goes out as a PDF, and the “preparing for a visit” report is written for exactly that.
Is their information kept apart from mine?
Yes. Each profile has its own record, plan, reports and companion.
